Narmada Pandey, 37 years old, stay-at-home mother and a volunteer at the Victory Dream Center, shares how she handles her work life and family life during COVID-19 on Monday, March 22, 2021 at Evergreen Terrace Family Housing in Carbondale, Ill. Pandey said that it is difficult to manage children, household chores and kids’ online classes. “I really do not have time for myself. I take care of the children in their zoom classes and then their homework. Aayan is in grade two, so the younger one needs more attention in studies. To relieve all those stresses, I do yoga every day and take out a little bit of time for myself. I believe everything will be good after people get vaccines. Hopefully, I can go back to my volunteering work with some free time,” Pandey said.
