The Dawgs had a very strong showing in field events; Cole Targgart and Daniel Norris finished one-two in both shotput and discus, while Norris also placed second in the hammer throw behind Levi Graham.

The success in throws didn’t stop with the men’s team; Matisen Ingle and Bri’Yanna Robinson took first in the women’s discus and shotput respectively, while Christine Nosike took second in both.

Britney Mosby and Haley Wright claimed places one and two in the women’s triple jump, and Wright also took second in high jump.

The success didn’t stop when the running started.

Top finishers in the distance events were Travis Hart [first in steeplechase], Rachel Anderson and Ansley Bailey [first and second in the 1500], Weston Jokerst [first in the 1500], and Claire Ayers, Ellie Hall, and Stephanie Anthonies [first, second and third in the 5000].

Sprints saw a nearly equal amount of success; Jadon Robertson won the 110 hurdles, Iaunia Pointer and Shavell Riley were 1-2 in the women’s 100, Xavier Preston and Christian Donatelli were 1-2 in the mens 100.  Shavell and Vashti Grey were also first and second in the women’s 200.

Middle distance was no stranger to success either; Grey and Miracle Berry claimed first and second in the women’s 400, while Jeremiah Hamilton, Isaiah Pressley, and Bryson Wilson took places 1-3 in the mens 400.
