Salukis travel to South Bend, IN for Notre Dame Invitational

Saturday the Salukis men’s and women’s track and field teams traveled to South Bend, IN to participate in the Notre Dame Invitational.

Southern Illinois men’s team placed second overall with 110.5 points and the women’s team placed fourth with a total of 75 points.

Senior Dawson Plab placed first in high jump for the Saluki men’s team and freshman Jadon Robertson tied for second.

Freshman Dahja Price finished third in the 60M hurdle finals and fellow freshman, Trinity Cleaver finished fifth for the women’s team.

The Southern Illinois men’s team also finished first in the 4×400 relay with a time of 3:22:32.

SIU’s track and field team will travel to Bloomington, IN on Jan, 27 to participate in the Indiana University Relays.
