The SIU SolarSTEAM team  put this video together explaining the phases of the eclipse, so you’ll know what you’re looking at.

This live blog will track social media reaction to the 2024 Total Solar Eclipse as the path of totality sweeps across North America. Carbondale will enjoy four minutes of darkness starting at 1:59 p.m.

If you’re not in the path of totality, or you just want to watch as it moves across the land, tune into the SIU NASASolarSTEAM livestream. This will be the last total solar eclipse to cross the U.S. until 2044.
