Carbondale Police searching for missing teen

UPDATE: Gracie Moses-Chad  was found and returned to her family after an anonymous tip on social media. She was at the apartment of a friend and has since been returned home to her family.

Gracie Moses-Chad, a 13-year-old girl who attends Carbondale Middle School, was reported missing to the Carbondale Police at 6:45 p.m, according to a press release by the Carbondale Police.

According to the release, Moses-Chad was last seen at approximately 11:30 a.m. at the middle school and did not board the bus.

According to WSIL, her mother told them she had received reports that Moses-Chad was last seen at Panera around 6 p.m. with another student. Police say Moses-Chad may be in the Carbondale or Desoto area.

Moses-Chad is white, with brown hair and brown eyes. She is 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs approximately 130 pounds. She was last seen wearing a grey Under Armour shirt, black yoga pants, and burgundy tennis shoes.
