Travis Swafford, a senior from West Frankfort studying exercise science and cadet in charge of the event, said money raised from the run helps develop more training for ROTC. “We also donate to the Illinois Veterans Home of Anna,” he said. “It’s not strictly for us, we do put back into the community. We appreciate giving back to them as well.”
