Celebrities stand up to cancer

Stand Up To Cancer is a production to raise funds, research and awareness about cancer.

Networks like ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC and 26 other networks will donate one hour of commercial free television Friday to broadcast SU2C. The production is being performed live from the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. This night is all to continue to grow research for new cancer treatments and help those diagnosed with cancer.

Stars like Ariana Grande, The Who and Dave Matthews band will perform live at the event. The show will also feature stars such as Steve Carrell, Sofia Vergara and Robert Downey Jr.

The airing marks the fourth year for SU2C, and is expected to help educate the public about cancer. According to the site, one in two men and one in three women are diagnosed with cancer each day.
