Wright State was led by senior guard Tay’ler Mingo who finished the game with 24 points.

SIU could not find a rhythm offensively and had two players combine for 33 of its 50 points.

Sophomore guard Rishonda Napier finished the game with 20 points and junior forward Azia Washington added 13.

In two games this year, Napier leads the Salukis with 40 points. Washington is second on the team with 24.

The rest of SIU’s squad shot 7-for-36 for a combined 27 points. The Salukis’ bench only contributed 7 points throughout the game and did not score until freshman guard Kylie Giebelhausen hit a three with 5:05 remaining in the second half.

Junior forward Dyana Pierre scored just 4 points after her 16-point night in the opening game against UT-Martin.

Her contribution against Wright State came in rebounds. She was able to grab 13 total, 3 offensive and 10 defensive.
