Police responded last Tuesday to Pulliam Hall in response to criminal damage to state supported property, a department release stated. It was learned fire extinguishers were damaged. There are no suspects.

Police responded last Tuesday to Lincoln Drive at Communications Drive in response to a suspended driver’s license, a department release stated. Torrey N. Fayson, a 21 year old SIUC student from Evanston posted $150 cash bond.
Police responded Wednesday to Neely Hall in response to residential burglary, a department release stated. It was learned that a textbook, apple ipod touch and backpack was stolen. There are no suspects.

Carbondale police responded Wednesday to the 600 block of West Freeman Street in reference to a report of armed robbery, a department release stated. Officers learned on Wednesday at 9:53 p.m. the victims were approached by an unknown suspect who displayed a handgun and demanded property. During the investigation, officers arrested Christopher Burton for home invasion and armed robbery. Burton was taken to Jackson County Jail and the investigation is continuing.
