Sexual assault reported to DPS

By Branda Mitchell, @BrandaM_DE

A reported sexual assault in Neely Hall that occurred March 15 is being reviewed by the university’s Office of Diversity and Equity, according to the Department of Public Safety’s crime log.

The victim, an unidentified female student, reported being assaulted by an unidentified suspect to a campus security authority on Dec. 3.

CSAs are employees who work on campus who serve as “alternative reporting channels” for individuals to report crimes, according to DPS. If crimes are reported to CSAs, they are then required to report them to campus police.
