Dan Wiethop, of Cape Girardeau, Mo., plays a set Saturday during the Howlin’ at the Moon open mic night at the Yellow Moon Café in Cobden. Each performer is allotted three songs on a first-come, first-served basis. Howlin’ at the Moon, which is held every third Saturday of the month, began three years ago.
