Jason Holmes, a sophomore from Chicago studying education, pitches Sunday during a softball game and cookout put on by Iota Phi Theta SIU Fraternity Inc. at Sam Rinella field. Holmes said he is not part of the fraternity, but he just came to play.“It’s a good event that gets people of all races together, just out here to have a good time,” he said.
