The Salukis announced they will host the No. 19 ranked Southeastern Louisiana Lions on April 17 at 12 P.M.

The Salukis’ final two games against Western Illinois on April 10 and Illinois State on April 3 were canceled after both teams opted out of the season. 

Due to the cancellations this game is needed for the Salukis, who will likely need another win to make their final case to make the FCS playoffs. 

If SIU defeats Southeastern Louisiana it would be the teams’ fourth win against a ranked opponent. 

Since the Lions are a member of the Southland conference, this will be a non-conference matchup.
