Tire slashing suspect arrested after months-long pursuit

After a four month-long investigation Carbondale Police have arrested a suspect on Jan. 15 for damaging property around the city.

33-year-old Isaac E. Wilson, from Carbondale was arrested and charged with criminal damage to property. He was released on bond according to current COVID-19 restrictions, so he will not be incarcerated. 

A news release said CPD officers executed a search warrant at his home, where he was arrested. Other related incidents are being investigated by CPD and there may be additional charges resulting from those investigations. Anyone with any additional information is advised to contact the police department or the Carbondale crime stoppers anonymous tip line. Crime stoppers offer cash rewards for additional information that can potentially lead to an arrest.
