Visitors dressed as Superman look up in the sky to pose for a group photo Sunday at the 35th Annual Superman Celebration in Metropolis. Organizers of the celebration were attempting to break the Guinness world record for the number of people dressed as the Man of Steel in one location. The 268 participants fell short of breaking the newest world record of 566, but managed to break Metropolis’ 128-person Guinness world record, which they originally set in 2008.
