Mika’il McCall, the Salukis’ leading rusher and the third leading MVFC scorer, suffered an apparent ankle injury during the third quarter of Saturday’s game. While McCall did not return to the field following the injury, coach Dale Lennon said the team is not sure of its severity.

“He’s walking on it, which is a positive sign,” Lennon said at the post-game press conference. “We’ll see where he’s at (this week). All he would have been capable of doing (had he returned) would be straight ahead. He probably couldn’t make cuts.”

McCall has scored seven of the team’s 11 touchdowns this season.
