Since the band “Confederate Railroad” was pulled from the lineup, I ask that all performers also consider NOT PLAYING. If you think this is
fair, go ahead.
The state fair commission pulled the band because of the name. Political correctness is hogwash and must stop.

Confederate Railroad. The news reports you dropped them due to their NAME?!? Who are you to say that a country music band who has been working and earning a living for the band, their families and their crew is suddenly not good enough! This is America. Land of the free. They have not committed a crime! They haven’t broken any laws! If this is the only reason you have dropped them from the line-up. Our family will never visit your town, your fair and I promise to share this news with as many as I can. This is not right! You are deliberately trying to force a band to either change their name or run them out of business because you do not like the name Confederate. What’s next? Removing the word from the dictionary? HOW do you expect them to continue to build their career on a name that is unknown?

WELL, maybe you should work on it more than a couple of months if this is the best you can get. Yet another year that I won’t have to worry about spending money there. Sad.
