Carbondale City Councilman Lance Jack was arrested for driving under the influence at 2:30 a.m. Friday in the 800 block of West Cherry St.

Jack posted a $100 bond for the DUI as well as improper lane usage, illegal transportation of alcohol, no insurance and resisting a peace officer, according to information obtianed from a Freedom of Information Act request.

The 44-year-old is also the owner of Fat Patties restaurant and was arrested on charges of driving under the influence in 2008, according to judici.com. The charges were dismissed.

Jack is running to keep his seat on the council in the April election.
