Saluki fans will soon have the opportunity to race across campus.

The sixth-annual Saluki Kickoff 5K Run, benefitting Saluki Tickets for Kids, will begin at 8:30 a.m. Sept. 10, the university’s athletics department announced today.

Runners will embark on a course across campus, including Campus Lake and crossing the finish line in Saluki Stadium.

Nick Hill will make his home debut as SIU football’s head coach as the Salukis take on Southeast Missouri State at 6 p.m. that evening at Saluki Stadium.

Early registration fees are $30 for individuals, $25 per person for teams of four and $25 for students. All fees increase by $5 on the day of the race.
