Carbondale police responded to an armed robbery about 7:30 p.m. Monday at Walgreens on West Main Street in Carbondale.

The suspect, armed with a handgun, “entered the business and demanded property before he fled on foot,” according to a press release.

“The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 6 foot, weighing between 165 and 180 pounds with a teardrop tattoo under his left eye, who was last seen wearing a black T-shirt, black jeans and sunglasses,” the release read.

No one was injured during the incident.
