Renee Reymond, SIUC student and a participant in Sidetracks’ volleyball league, said she decided to play in a volleyball league this summer, despite the fact that she has not played competitively for seven years.

It was a way to get out in the sun for recreation and to meet new people, Reymond said.

All of the outdoor venues offer open volleyball when leagues are not playing for those who want to play but not compete in a league.
