I have a hard time sitting back and watching Mr. Stromberg slam Christianity. His logic seems a little off to me. Don’t put all Christians into one mold and say Their leaders are greed goblins or imply that we’re all in some way a bunch of rubes or suckers. I’m sure a more in-depth and open-minded study of the history of Christianity will show Mr. Stromberg that we’re not all what he thinks we are.

It is true that not all people who claim to be Christian are in fact what they say they are. Liars exist in every culture regardless of the religious preference. Sadly, these people make the church look bad and detract from the real message.

I’m wondering if some person claiming to be a Christian has hurt you or someone close to you. Don’t let one bad apple ruin the entire truckload for you.

Another thing worrying about leaders and their own agenda shouldn’t detract from the real message here. Christ died for our sins so that we could have eternal life by believing in him. Christ did not walk around carrying a collection plate or beg for money on cable like some do. He very explicitly told his people to give up their riches and follow him. I’m not going to try and ram my religious beliefs down your throat. It should be of your own free will. That is what is so great about it.

If you were to check out the message for yourself with an open mind and forgot the economic and political problems we are facing today, you might see the real truth. Economic and Politics are just some and mirrors to divert people from what they should really be concentrating on. We’re not out to get you or your money. True Christians are more interested in spreading the word than being rich or powerful.
