Posing nude does not end opportunities

This response will serve Marie Sweeney and all interested. Marie dear, you seem to be enjoying the fruits of a world where doors only swing open one way. Keeping your doors open, as you refer to it, implies that one should sit in their apartment with one hand on their pants and the other in a bowl of Cap’n Crunch.

These metaphorical doors you speak of are constantly opening and closing for those of us who choose to actually live. The only way to prevent the closing of doors is to remain static. Let this be an example. One day soon you may be seeking employment with my multi-national baby-seal-killing corporation (we will need a shrink aboard to wash the blood from our consciences). Well, the nature of your narrow-minded, holier-than-thou letter has effectively excluded you as a prospective employee. Sorry, door closed.

We all make decisions that, by their very nature, exclude alternate options. If Kyra has chosen to appear in Playboy, then perhaps she also has chosen not to partake in the greedhead, power-mongering world of politics or high-profile business (the lost opportunity you speak of?).

And as for the Miss America Pageant seems nothing more than Playboy for those with repressed, yet salivating visual imaginations. To dangle such a pageant crown in hopes of thwarting future Playboy models can only serve to find you wading, belly-deep, in the quicksand of your own perceived moral high ground.

Many models featured in Playboy have used their international exposure as a means to open doors and achieve their own measure of success. So Kyra opened some doors (and received a check) and closed a few. We all do every time we step toward what we want.

Finally, to lance the boil of you, if you have a problem with the nude human, then please do not hide behind logical fallacies when expressing it. Hunter S. Thompson and I cringe at your niggardly use of honesty.
