The Following is a list of restrictions the University and the City of Carbondale have imposed for the fall recess as well as the hours of operations for Morris Library, the Recreation Center and the Student Center:Bars on South Illinois Avenue will be closed on Friday and Saturday. Restaurants on South Illinois Avenue will remain open, but will not be allowed to serve alcohol on those two days.

Beer kegs may not be sold or possessed in Carbondale Thursday through Sunday.
Visitors will not be allowed to park on the SIUC campus from 10 p.m. Wednesday through noon Sunday. All vehicles without a parking decal at this time will be ticketed and towed from campus at the owners’ expense.
The Recreation Center will be open from 11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. during the break.

Morris Library will be open during its regular hours.
The Student Center will be open from 7:15 a.m. to 11 p.m. Thursday, 7:45 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. on Sunday.
