Maxwell’s Urban Hang Suite is definitely a CD that should be kept for those intimate nights with your loved one. This album is comprised of all the right lines to smooth over anyone.
Maxwell’s sexy, rugged look matches the sound of his debut album to a T. It is quite obvious that this afro-wearing beau says what he feels in each song.

His passion is greatly felt in Whenever Wherever Whatever. In this song, Maxwell warmly sings his heart out describing how he would do anything for the woman he always will love. Keeping consistency, such warmth is threaded throughout the album.
Literally pouring his heart out on each track, Maxwell has a will to express himself as a mellow, laid-back and loving male, which is not normal in this day and age of men trashing women every given chance.
Maxwell sings about women as if they are his life. Maxwell loves women. He feels women. He breathes women. This man knows how to make a woman feel good inside.
Suitelady is one of the best mellow, intensified tracks on the album. Maxwell’s voice soothes the mind and heart with the lines, Suitelady don’t worry/Ain’t no end to what this ring wants to begin with you/I’ve waited suitelady.
This track is the jam of the album along with other songs, Sumthin’ Sumthin’ and Ascension.
Ascension is a softened groove that is guaranteed to keep the toes tapping and the fingers snapping as Maxwell sings Shouldn’t I realize/You’re the highest of the high/And if you don’t know then I’ll say it/So don’t ever wonder.
If you are considering investing in this CD, you don’t have to worry about it being a waste of money. Each song has its own rhythmic sound and style that will keep you groovin’ for years to come.
