Michael J. Crowell, 32, of rural Carbondale was arrested at 2:05 a.m. Saturday at Pleasant Hill Road and South Wall Street for driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding and driving on a revoked driver’s license. Crowell posted $300 cash bond and was released pending a future court appearance.

Jeffrey R. Wolinski, 19, of Clarendon Hills was arrested at 2:23 a.m. Saturday, in the 800 block of South Illinois Avenue for driving under the influence of alcohol after an accident with a Carbondale Police vehicle. There were no injuries. Wolinski posted $100 cash bond and his drivers license and was released pending a future court appearance.

Philon Tante Green, 26, of Carbondale was arrested at 2:07 p.m. Saturday in lot 100, near Washington Square, after being observed by an SIUC police officer. Green was wanted on outstanding Jackson County and Effingham County warrants for failing to appear in court on previous charges of public urination and traffic violations. Less than 2.5 grams of a substance suspected to be cannabis was found on Green. Green was taken to Jackson County Jail where he is held in lieu of a $750 bond for Jackson County and a $250 bond for Effingham County.

Cory J. Yates, 19, of Carbondale was arrested at 3:11 a.m. Sunday in the 1100 block of South Wall Street for driving under the influence of alcohol and speeding. Yates posted his drivers license and a cash bond and was released pending a future court appearance.

Jamese D. Fields, 18, of Carbondale was arrested at 9:20 p.m. Sunday at Schneider Hall for assault. Fields allegedly tried to hit someone during an argument. Fields posted $75 bond and was released.

Matthew R. O’Gorden, 20, of Carbondale was arrested at 9:47 p.m. Sunday at Bailey Hall for unlawful production of cannabis, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, unlawful manufacture or delivery of cannabis and unlawful possession of cannabis. O’Gorden was taken to Jackson County Jail where he remains in lieu of a $1,000 bond.
