Officials are investigating a house fire that occurred at about 3:15 p.m. Thursday at 504 N. Wall St.

Police said the house was engulfed in smoke upon arrival. Fire fighters were able to extinguish the fire shortly after arrival.

Officials have not released the names of the residents, the cause of the fire or a damage estimate.

No serious injuries were reported, but a pet suffered smoke-related injuries.
