David W. Perrin, 52, of Carbondale was in a one-car accident at 10:38 a.m. Monday in the 800 block of East Grand Avenue near the exit of Lewis Park. An SIUC student driving a car collided with an SIUC student on a bike at 10:10 p.m. Monday on South Marion Street near lot 100 . The bike and the car sustained minor damage. There were no injuries. Police did not issue any citations.

An SIUC student reported Monday that the Industrial Education section of Pulliam Hall was broken into between 10 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. Sunday. The student reported three polished, tool steel bars had been stolen. The estimated cost of loss is $300. Police have no suspects.
