The Intervarsity Christian Ministries and the Black Christian Ministries will present A Celebration of Black History Month at 7 p.m. Friday in Room 209 of the Agriculture Building.

The Rev. James Haley, of the Bethel AME Church, 316 E. Jackson St., will give a speech during the presentation. Patrick Langan, a member of the Intervarsity Christian Ministries, also will give a presentation on African-Americans and their role in Christianity.

Langan said the event should clear any misconceptions about Christianity and African-Americans.
