Jimmy R. Hamlin, 20, of Carbondale was arrested at 10:50 p.m. March 6 on East Grand Avenue by lot 45 for domestic battery and theft after an incident at Mae Smith Hall. Hamlin was taken to Jackson County Jail where he posted bond and was released.

Richard R. Lowe, 20, of Carbondale was arrested at 2:52 a.m. March 8 in the 500 block of South Wall Street for driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding and disobeying a stop sign. Lowe posted his drivers’ license and cash and was released.
Benjamin L. Clutts, 34, of Makanda was arrested at 1:04 a.m. Wednesday on South Illinois Avenue for driving under the influence of alcohol. Clutts posted cash and his drivers’ license and was released.
Brian Johnson, 26, of Carbondale was arrested at 1:15 p.m. Wednesday at Hillcrest Mobile Home Park on an outstanding Jackson County Warrant for failure to appear in court on a previous charge of resisting a police officer. Johnson was taken to Jackson County Jail where he posted bond and was released.

Tammy S. Davis, 34, of Marion was arrested at 2:38 a.m. March 9 at East Walnut and South Wall streets for speeding, improper lane usage, and possession of less than 2.5 grams of cannabis and drug paraphernalia. Davis was released on her own recognizance.
