The extended hours area of Morris Library is now open two hours longer for the spring semester, according to a university press release Tuesday. 

The area — which includes study space, a lab of 24 computers and a networked printer on the library’s first floor — will close at 2 a.m. Sunday through Thursday, 9 p.m. Friday and 8 p.m. Saturday. 

“The university will evaluate extended hours for future semesters based on the number of students who take advantage of them this spring,” interim Chancellor Brad Colwell said in the news release.
