Senior sprinter Kelsey Toussaint broke three SIU school records at the Iowa State Track and Field Classic in Ames, Iowa this past weekend. Toussaint shattered both the 200m and the 400m records and was part of the record-breaking 4×400 team as well.

Her performance in the 200m earned her a tenth-place finish out of 127 runners, and she legged out an eighth place honor in the 400m. The 4×400 team recorded a time of 3:43.40, which broke the previous SIU record by three seconds and earned them a fifth-place finish out of 35 teams.

Toussaint was not the only runner moving up in the SIU record books.
