Letter: Understand the problem before proposing a solution

By Gus Bode

Dear Editor:

An article already published in the Daily Egyptian explained the problem with moving the books to Morris. The difficulty is not in simply moving the books back and placing them on the shelves, but of moving and installing the special shelving units on which many of these books would need to be stored. This would have to be done by professionals, which would cost money they don’t have right now. I’m sure the library staff is tired of the misconceptions that appear to be going around in the student body. I also miss having a complete library, but make sure you understand a problem before you propose a solution.
