Derek Jeter is looking to become the 28th player in MLB history to reach 3,000 hits, as he currently sits only six hits shy. While Jeter is considered a future hall of famer, Pete Rose, the current hits leader with 4,256, is not. Even though he got banned for betting on baseball, do you think Rose will end up in Cooperstown?

Cory: Yes, I think he will. I understand why MLB would ban him from having anything to do with a baseball organization, but he is one of the greatest players of all time, and he earned it on the field. At this point, I think it’s just an ego issue.

Steve: There’s no question he should be in the Hall of Fame. There is a handful of players who I think should and are not, but what should happen isn’t always what actually happens. Although I would like to see him make it, if I had to bet on it, I would say no.
