The center runs a summer lunch program that caters to kids who do not have hot lunches available to them when they are not in school. The center feeds 75 to 80 kids a day and hosts events such as kickball and badminton. “There really was a need for kids to get hot lunches during the summer, and this center provides that for the kids in this community,” site supervisor Margret Walls said.
