Beating only Jacksonville, UAB, and Florida Gulf Coast U, the Saluki Men’s Golf team rounded out the Seminole Intercollegiate this past Tuesday in 12th place with a +49 rating over par. Their 12th place marking makes for their lowest placing all season and their +49 performance marks their worst score all season.

The Salukis, and every other team invited to the meet, were no match for Florida State, the hosts of the invite. The Seminoles won the meet, shooting 14 under par, 63 strokes ahead of the Dawgs, and 38 ahead of their closest competitor, North Alabama.

Braden Hosington led the way for the dawgs as he posted a +9 over-par rating, aiding to the Salukis’ efforts. Hosington totaled 225 for the whole meet, making for a team-best at 22nd place. Hugo Archer and Justin Wingerter trailed slightly behind Hosington, each totaling 228 throughout the invite, tying for 35th place and a +12 over-par rating.
