Photo of the Day: Special Olympics holds the first virtual Ducky Derby Dash

A small crowd watches as a helicopter lands to deliver Splash Duck, the mascot of the event to the Ducky Derby Dash on Sunday, Oct. 4, 2020, at the Walker’s Bluff Winery in Carterville, Ill. The event helps to raise funds for Special Olympics Illinois. The event is on its sixth year and this year the event took on a new look because of COVID-19. The duck race was moved to a virtual event, while participants were still allowed to come out to enjoy food, games, and live music in person. (Jared Treece | @bisalo)
