Carbondale Police searching for missing woman

UPDATE: The Carbondale Police have announced Donna Greaves has been found safe and sound.

The Carbondale Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing person.

The missing person has been identified as Donna M. Greaves, a 50 year old woman with hazel eyes and now having short red hair. 


According to a release from the Carbondale Police Department, Greaves was also described as being five feet, ten inches tall and weighing 180 pounds. She may also be wearing a purple coat. 

Greaves has been identified as part of Carbondale’s homeless population according to the release. 

She was last in contact with her family on March 15 via cell phone while in the 700 block of S. Marion Street in Carbondale. 

Anyone with any information on Greaves or her whereabouts is asked to contact the Carbondale Police Department immediately. 

The investigation into Greaves’ whereabouts is active and still ongoing.
