Carbondale Police search for missing 16-year-old

UPDATE: On Feb. 5, the Carbondale police reported the missing juvenile has been recovered by the Murphysboro Police Department. The release said the Carbondale police learned of the recovery on Feb. 1 around 4 p.m.
The city of Carbondale is requesting assistance from the public in an investigative search for a missing juvenile.
Sixteen-year-old Amarion T. Roberts was last seen on Jan. 27 at 2 p.m. near the 400 block of South Marion Street in Carbondale.

According to a press release, Roberts is described as 5-foot-6, 130 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair.
Roberts is believed to be in the Murphysboro area, according to the press release.
If anyone has any information on Roberts’ whereabouts, they are asked to call the Carbondale Police Department.
They can also call Carbondale Crime Stoppers anonymous tip line or the Murphysboro/Jackson County anonymous tip line.
