SIU professor and Crab Orchard Review managing editor dies

This morning, the SIU English department announced managing editor of Crab Orchard Review Jon Tribble has died.
Tribble was a long-time faculty member of the SIU English department, and taught creative writing and literature courses as well as being the series editor for the Crab Orchard Series in Poetry.
Information on memorial and funeral services has not yet been released.

This is a very sad loss on many levels. As well as being a key member of the English Department, Jon was one of those people you rarely encounter in academia – a really fine human being. He will be missed by many.
