Green Party Presidential Candidate to Visit Carbondale

On Monday, June 24 Green Party presidential candidate Dario Hunter will be coming to Carbondale, following St. Louis campaign appearances on June 23, according to a press release from Shawnee Green Party.
The release said Hunter is a Green elected official, currently serving on the Youngstown, Ohio, school board. He is an environmental lawyer with three law degrees, former schoolteacher and ordained rabbi. He has fought to ban fracking and is a strong advocate for peace, a Green New Deal, and a People of Color Bill of Rights.
During Hunter’s trip to Carbondale, he will have a Radio interview, “Class Matters,” with WDBX Community Radio, 91.1 FM, at 10:30-11 a.m. at 224 N. Washington St. Carbondale, the release said.

According to the release, following that, Hunter will have a press conference at 11:15a.m. at Carbondale Township Hall, 216 E. Monroe St, Carbondale.
To end his visit, there will be a pizza social at 6-8.p.m. at Pagliai’s Pizza, 509 S Illinois Ave, in Carbondale, the release said.

Dario Hunter is a great candidate and we are excited he is coming out of Ohio to run for President. He is capable of bringing the REAL Green New Deal to the US.
