Women for Change to host “Vocal with our Local” forum featuring Carbondale mayoral candidates

Women for Change Carbondale is hosting a “Vocal with our Local” forum on Thursday, Mar. 7 at the Civic Center with Carbondale’s mayoral candidates.
According to Women for Change’s Facebook page, the forum is to educate and inform the community about candidates and will run from 6-9 p.m. There will also be voter registration tables at the event.
Incumbent mayor Mike Henry will be running against Nathan Colombo, a community organizer, in the upcoming election.

Partners for the event include the Sierra Club, Community Solar Working Group, The Green Party and the NAACP.

Just great two ultra liberals running for mayor. Is there no conservatives left in Carbondale? They can’t tax much more the university is almost broke.
