Jim Engle, of Carbondale, prepares a horn of cider for members of the Southern Illinois Pagan Alliance as part of a pagan sabbath ritual Saturday at the Gaia House Interfaith Center. Engel has been a member of SIPA for five and a half years. He said he explores different religions to learn more about each one. Engle passed around the horn for all group members to share goals they wanted to accomplish this year.
