“I decided I don’t want a little item that I can break, lose or you know, somebody is going to steal it,” Millard said. “So I thought I’m going to get a tattoo for it [eclipse] so I can always remember it.”

“Something you can talk about with your grandkids and say, ‘I was there for it,'” Millard added. “I just wanted to come here and have something that I could have forever.”

Owner of Artistic Mind Tattoo parlor John Belyer said they have been offering eclipse themed tattoos just this week and will continue to do so until Friday.

Belyer has been the owner of the parlor for eight years and partially designed the eclipse tattoos.

“It is a cool thing for people to remember for the rest of their life,” Beyler said.
