Auditions to be held for Stage Company’s ‘Death of a Salesman’

The Stage Company will hold auditions next week for Arthur Miller’s “Death of a Salesman,” according to a news release.

Auditions will be at 6:40 p.m. Aug. 29 and Aug. 30 in the Varsity Center for the Arts at 418 S. Illinois Ave., with callbacks the next day, according to The Stage Company’s website.

Parts are available for five females and eight males.

The show is under the direction of Eric Billingsley, an SIU theater graduate who grew up in southern Illinois. The script for “Death of a Salesman” is available at the Carbondale Public Library.
