A police officer wheels the victim of the March 29 shooting out of Evolve Apartments at SIU on a stretcher. Police said there was an altercation between the victim and suspect about 7 p.m. in the apartment complex on the 700 block of South Illinois Avenue. The victim, a 19-year-old male whose identity has not been released, sustained a non-life threatening injury. Police said they are searching for the suspect Daniel D.
