SIU students showing support for Ukraine

In light of the recent escalation of the Ukraine and Russia conflict SIU Ukrainian international student Diana Butsko will be organizing a support Ukraine rally. Butsko will be delivering a speech.

The rally will take place in front of Faner plaza Thursday March 3, 2022 at 2 p.m.

The DE obviously needs to take Freshman Composition as well as History since the headline involves the plural and the subject is singular. Another example of its current drop in standards, unless the editor is looking into the future through a crystal ball!
