Jackson County Health Department schedules walk-in COVID-19 vaccinations

On March 24, the Jackson County Health Department announced the availability of walk-in COVID-19 vaccination appointments for all Illinois residents on three specific days.
The first scheduled day is Wednesday, March 24 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Civic Center, where the Pfizer vaccine will be available, and the Banterra Center, where the Johnson and Johnson vaccine will be available.
The second scheduled day is Thursday, March 25 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Civic Center, where the Johnson & Johnson vaccine will be available, and the Banterra Center, where the Pfizer will be available.

The third day of walk-in vaccination is Saturday, March 27 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Civic Center and Banterra Center. During this day, the Pfizer vaccine will be given at both locations.
Residents wanting to have a walk-in must carry a valid ID card during the visits.
According to the post, “Johnson & Johnson is available to those 18 years of age and older” while Pfizer is available to those 16 years and older” provided that persons below the age of 18 are accompanied by a parent.
