Jackson County Health Department reports 25 new cases of COVID-19
Jackson County Health Department reported 25 new cases of COVID-19 on Friday.
The cases included one teen, four in their 20s, three in their 30s, two in their 40s, two in their 50s, three in their 60s, five in their 70s, two in their 80s, and three in their 90s.
As of Friday, there have been 3,360 confirmed cases in Jackson County and 51 deaths, according to the release, and 2,935 individuals have been released from isolation in accordance with CDC guidelines.

Franklin and Williamson Counties reported 72 cases and one death Friday.
Statewide, the Illinois Department of Health reported 7,377 confirmed and probable cases on Friday and 181 additional deaths.
As of Friday, there have been 886,805 positive cases in the state of Illinois and 15,015 deaths.
The Jackson County Health Department asks all residents to follow public health guidelines by wearing a mask in public, maintaining social distance, avoiding social gatherings, washing hands frequently and working with health department officials as they conduct contact tracing.
