The SIU Board of Trustees has called a meeting for Monday March 30 at noon in Carbondale to discuss the possibility of partially refunding student fees in the wake of COVID-19.

There will be a public questions and comments segment of the meeting, then the board will vote on authorizing a presidential delegation for refunds.

“The President will work closely with the Board Treasurer and administrators of Southern Illinois University Carbondale and Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, in determining which fees and charges to refund, or emergency grants to allow if any and in what proportion,” According to a release from the Board of Trustees.
